Strategic Planning

What is a strategic plan?

A strategic plan can include corporate strategies, general business strategies and/or marketing strategies. The strategic plan, regardless of its type, analyzes the internal and external aspects that affect the business and outlines the specific steps needed to meet company goals. A good strategic plan supports the mission of the organization and sets direction for the future.

Why have a strategic plan?

Because healthcare is always changing and your business must anticipate and be ready for change even before it happens.  Those we serve, our patients, don’t look the same as they did just 1 year ago.  They are often older, have more chronic issues and how they search for a provider today is significantly different than in the past.  Physicians, who once focused primarily on patient care are now driven to manage multiple lines of business and investments to maintain a thriving practice.  A healthcare provider or investor must stay aware of shifts and changes in their external and internal environment and develop measurable goals, strategies and objectives for continued success.
